Melrose Bloem is lawyer and Managing Director at Melrose Bloem Law Offices. Since the year 2000, Melrose Bloem has built an extensive and broad litigation record handling disputes for a variety of commercial, government, domestic and international clients in the Court of Justice in Curaçao and Bonaire. The primary areas of practice at Melrose Bloem Law Offices are Civil -, Administrative -, Governmental -, Business - and Family law, and Public Policy. Upon request we can also provide legal advice and litigation services in criminal law procedures.

Melrose Bloem has been a qualified lecturer since 1996. After her qualification from Hogeschool Enschede and the Katholieke Universiteit Nijmegen in the Netherlands, where she obtained her degree in Management Economics & Law and thereafter her master's degree in Dutch law, she lectured law at several colleges in the Netherlands. As this is one of her passions, she continued providing legal training and education upon her return to Curaçao. At the moment, Melrose lectures at ABC Opleiding & Training, the University of the Dutch Caribbean (UDC) and the University of the Netherlands Antilles (UNA) Melrose's goal is to provide the best legal service to those who try to find justice, equality, and respect. As a member of the Netherlands Antilles Lawyers Association (AJV) she is strongly committed to the communities in which we live in and the people with whom she works and interacts. Melrose speaks fluent Dutch, English, Papiamento and Spanish.
